Student organizations can now post digital signage on the information stations. If you take a look at the screens in the Lair food court you’ll see examples. Students can email files to kim.harrison@mail.wvu.edu to be uploaded. Check here for more info.
WVU is proud of its outstanding sports clubs and they now have the opportunity to schedule practice times at Event Center at Mylan Park. These are some of the best facilities you’ll find at any school across the country. Club representatives are encouraged to check the calendar for availability.
STUDENTS! Student Organizations and The Rack are here to help! Recognizing there is a need on campus, WVU has made efforts to assist students who face hunger. Students are welcome to come to the Student Orgs office to visit The Rack. Each Wednesday and Friday from 3-5pm students can visit the Gaskins House to take advantage of the perishable food distribution. Additionally, all community resources listed are open to all WVU students. Here is a list of resources – please print and save.
Student Organizations has implemented a new Greek Housing work order form. Students who currently reside in these houses should now utilize this system to report issues: http://simpleforms.scripts.wvu.edu/sf/GREEKWORKREQUEST/
Student organizations are encouraged to schedule table space for the daily information fair that is held during New Student Orientation. For more information contact orientation@mail.wvu.edu and be sure to submit your table request before May 25!
It is very important to complete an officer update form with our office. If you are not updated you lose privileges and will not be able to reserve meeting space. All recognized organizations are also able to apply for an SGA grant. It’s important for our office to be aware of any changes in the status of your advisor. Each organization is required to have an advisor in place. Please check the SOS Forms link to get a copy or stop by the SOS offices in the Mountainlair. We will be happy to assist you. You can email kim.harrison@mail.wvu.edu if you have any questions.
