Kenneth D. Gray Student Leadership Award

Greek Housing

Do you want to get involved but don’t know when and where a particular group is meeting? Check out the Student Organizations calendar. If you want to post your meeting you can add it to the calendar as well. Check here for Student Organizations Services sponsored events, too.

Officer Updates

It is very important to complete an officer update form with our office. If you are not updated you lose privileges and will not be able to reserve meeting space. All recognized organizations are also able to apply for an SGA grant. It’s important for our office to be aware of any changes in the status of your advisor. Each organization is required to have an advisor in place. Please check the SOS Forms link to get a copy or stop by the SOS offices in the Mountainlair. We will be happy to assist you. WVU Challenge Course

Student organizations are encouraged to check out the WVU Challenge Course – http://www.challenge.wvu.edu/ – groups can learn about building teamwork and communication. You can email at wvuchallengecourse@mail.wvu.edu for more information.

RESERVATIONS

For reservation request including banner, room, and outside areas, please email sos-reservation@mail.wvu.edu. Include your group’s name and the time, date, attendance, and contact information for your event. You can also call 293-4397 or stop by our office in the Mountainlair.

Stansbury Gym Reservation Policy

~All student organizations must make reservations through our office.

~It is only available for rent on Friday and Saturday

~On Friday the gym can be rented between 4pm to 12am only for a maximum of 3 hours

~On Saturday the gym may be rented from 8am to 12am

~The rental cost is $45 per hour

~All parties require security to be present. Contact our office to make security arrangements.

~Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in loss of privileges.
